We curate, make & trade!

Victor Hunt Designart Dealer’s services focus on the search for, issue and sale of limited editions by the most remarkable emerging designers, operating as a platform for development supported by an international exhibition program. Since the gallery’s inception in 2008, the collection has grown throughout all object typologies, representing a carefully curated collection of cutting-edge contemporary design.

We understand “designart” as the gray zone between industrial design, crafts, architecture, sculpture, conceptual art, installation, and many other arts, but applied to or at least suggesting objects of use— developed and manufactured with the utmost care.

Sabine Marcelis, seeing glass

Sabine Marcelis,
seeing glass

The ‘Seeing Glass’ is a series of glass objects resulting from an ongoing study into optical effects created with glass as the primary material. Glass specialists allowed the designers to play around and experiment in their factory to investigate new possibilities and through the use of materials, colour and layering, unexpected effects are created which play with ones visual perception as well as the surrounding space. Seeing Glass’ is a series of glass objects resulting from an ongoing study into optical effects created with glass as the primary material. The collection of OFFROUND mirrors created as part of the ‘Seeing Glass’ project is continually evolving and expanding. ‘BIG ROUND’ utilises several layers of glass which sandwich a selection of colour foils to create a play of colour and depth within the reflective surface. The pieces are available in a variety of colours, sizes and thicknesses.
